The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is hosting their annual 3-Day event. This registration event includes a 60 mile walk over the course of three days, approximately 20 miles each day during daylight hours only. No street closures required. Participants walk only on sidewalks, shoulders and in bike lanes as they venture along the route. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. The route starts at 7:45 a.m. on Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge onto Continental Avenue; right on Riverfront Boulevard; left on Commerce Street; left on Elm Street; left on Houston Street; right on Ross Avenue; left on Market Street; right on Munger Avenue; left on Lamar Street; right on Houston Street; right on Katy Trail; continuing through Reverchon Park onto Turtle Creek Boulevard; slight right on Turtle Creek Trail; right on Sylvan Drive; left on Lemmon Avenue; left on McKinney Avenue; left on Knox Street; left on Abbott Avenue; right Lexington Avenue; right on Lakeside Drive; left on Beverly Drive; right on Preston Road; right on University Boulevard; left on Haynie Avenue; left on Golf Drive continuing through Curtis Park; right on Lovers Lane; right on Greenville Avenue; right on Ellsworth Avenue; right on University Crossing Trial; left on Mockingbird Lane; left on Airline Road; right on Katy Trail: left on Cole Avenue; onto Carlisle Street; left on Cedar Springs Road; left on Pearl Street; right on Woodall Rodgers Freeway; left on St. Paul Street; right on Elm Street; left on Akard Street; right on Commerce Street; left on Lamar; Street; right on Young Street; onto Reunion Boulevard ending at Reunion Tower Parking Lot A for SAG Bus Pick up. Pit Stops are located at American Airlines Center Parking Lot F, Cole Park, Glenco Park, Klyde Warren Park and Curtis Park for lunch stop. Once buses drop participants off, they will leave the site. No participants will be coming by car and no cars will be parked and left for the day. Setup begins at 9 a.m. on November 1 with the erection of tents (two – 10’x10’ and one – 16’x16’). Teardown will be complete by 6:30 p.m.
