This three-day art festival is the 25th Deep Ellum Arts Festival. Two hundred and twenty tents (two hundred and twenty 10’x10’ vendor and exhibitor tents, six 10’x20’, one 20’x40’ and one 20’x50’ frame tent and four stages (two SL 100 mobile stages 32’x24’x36”, two 16’x20’x18” stages) will be erected for the event. Setup for the event will begin at 6 a.m. April 4; teardown will be completed by 4 a.m. April 8. The event will require closing Main Street starting at the east intersection of Malcolm X Blvd and ending at the west intersection of Exposition Ave (Malcolm X Blvd and Exposition Ave will never be closed). Walton, Trunk, and 2nd Streets will be closed between Elm Street and Commerce Street but will allow for local traffic into private garage or driveways and deliveries. Murray Street will be closed between Commerce and Main Street but will allow for local traffic into garage or driveways or deliveries. April 5, 10 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. April 7, Hall Street will be closed between Elm Street and Commerce Street. UBER/Lyft pick-up/drop-off will be at Hall Street and Commerce Street. A curb lane will be available to the Chase Towers for entrance/exit to N. Hall Street/Elm St. Bike barricades will be place on the sidewalk of Malcolm X Boulevard at Main Street to create queue lines.
