This new event, hosted by Bishop Dunne Catholic School, is designed to highlight the community support of the Bishop Dunne Falcon Football Team’s state championship win, making them the TAPPS Division 1 State Football Champions. All school organizations & social groups are invited to march in the parade, to include the marching band, cheerleaders, drill team & various others. Staging for the parade will activate in the Southern-most entrance area, of the school parking lot, (just north-west of Tosca Lane) beginning at 8 a.m. and the parade will start promptly at 10 a.m., turning right out of the parking lot onto Rugged Drive. The parade route will travel North through the Oak Parks Estates Neighborhood on Rugged Drive, with rolling closures at each intersection, to include: Vatican Lane, Tosca Lane, Rubens Drive, Rugged Circle, Dancliff Drive, Ebbtide Lane, W Five Mile Parkway, W Pentagon Parkway, Trailridge Drive, Driftwood Drive, Nokomis Avenue, Champagne Drive, Watervaliet Drive, W Kiest Boulevard and Grayson Drive. The route will then need a hard closure of the Southbound lane of Rugged Drive at the Northern corner of Rugged Drive & Kiest Park Circle as the parade route concludes and disperses.
