Casa Linda Farmers Market @ Casa Linda Shopping Center

This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Four Seasons Market LLC to occur on the property of Casa Linda (Edens) LLC at 9540 Garland Road, parking lot.

The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from noon  4 p.m., setup begins at 10 a.m. and tear down at 5 p.m. The market will occur every Wednesday of each month through December 18, 2019. Parking for vendors and market guests are to be in approved parking areas.

The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods. Should the applicant provide electrical power to its vendors, all electrical cords, cables to include hoses are to be covered by cable protectors.

The market will not require street or lane closures; no traffic cones or signs are to be placed on streets or public property.

Food Trucks on the Plaza @ City Hall Plaza

City of Dallas are hosting their first annual Food Trucks on the Plaza event located at City Hall Plaza. Food trucks will be parked on Marilla between City Hall Building and Henry Moore sculpture. The sale of food & beverage (Non-alcohol) will be provided. Set up starts at 10 a.m. and teardown concludes at 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dallas Security will incorporate the normal city hall exterior patrols with the event. On Wednesdays, patrols would be less due to council meetings and staffing requirements. Estimated event attendance 100. Event Starts February 19- June 14, 2019, we are issuing 30-day permits.

City of Dallas Health Fair @ City Hall Plaza
May 17 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Health Fair 2019 is a new event hosted by the City of Dallas Fitness Center. This employee only event includes a customized 18-wheeler staged along the side walk of Akard Street below the steps. City vehicles will be parked along Marilla Street from Akard Street to the front doors of the building. No food, beverage, tents or stages are required. Setup begins at 7 a.m. with the removal of the red bollards at Marilla Street and Akard Street. Teardown will be complete by 4:30 p.m.

Outdoor Church Campaign is a new 3-day event hosted by Church Faith Hope and Love. This free event includes live performance and guest speakers. No food, beverage, tents or stage required. Amplified sound will start at 7:30 p.m. All outdoor music must cease by 10 p.m. Setup begins at 7 p.m. with the erection of a sound system and instruments. Teardown to be complete by 4 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church at 8011 Douglas Ave. to occur on the property of the church parking lot at 5999 Fredrick Square.

The Saint Michaels Farmers Market will consist of up to 70 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on the Saturdays through December 14, 2019. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Set up of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and tear down at 12 p.m.

 

White Rock Farmers Market @ White Rock Farmers Market

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur on the property of Lake Pointe Church (parking lot) at 9150 Garland Rd.

The White Rock Farmers Market will consist of up to 70 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on Saturdays starting on March 9 – December 7, 2019. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot.

Vive tu Vida at Grovefest – EVENT MOVED INSIDE @ A PLUS CHARTER SCHOOL

The Concilio Southeast Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual Vive tu Vida at Grovefest festival. This free event includes live performances, a DJ, amplified sound, guest speakers and outdoor activities. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. Setup begins at 12 p.m. on May 17 with the erection of a stage (32’x12’x4”), tents (ten – 10’x10’) and a portable generator. Teardown will be complete by 4:30 p.m.

Deep Ellum Outdoor Market @ Deep Ellum
May 18 @ 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Deep Ellum Community Association is hosting their monthly outdoor arts and crafts market. This free event includes live music, amplified sound and vendors. Merchandise, food, and beverage (nonalcoholic) and will be sold. The following street will close from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.: N. Crowdus Street from Elm Street to Main Street. Parking Meters will be hooded at 100-199 N. Crowdus Street from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Setup begins at 11 a.m. with the erection of tents (thirty-five – 10’x10’), a generator and a PA system. Teardown will be complete by 7 p.m. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 7 p.m.     

Teen Driver Safety Fair – CANCELLED @ City Hall Plaza
May 18 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

This new event, sponsored by the City of Dallas and AAA Texas, is free and open to the public. This event will involve educational vendor booths and two 12-foot balloon towers. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. There will be no tents, stages or street closures required. Setup will begin at 10 a.m. Teardown will be complete by 5 p.m.

Graduation Commencement/JV

Criswell College is hosting their annual Graduation Commencement in the parking lot at 4009 Junius Street. This invitation only event includes a ceremony and amplified sound. No food or beverage required. The following street will close from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.: 4000 block of Bird Street from Haskell Avenue to North Hill Avenue (full closure). Setup begins at 6 a.m. with the erection of a stage (6’x4’x6”), a tent (one – 20’x20’), a lectern and a tractor. Teardown will be complete by 6 p.m. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 5 p.m.

Wine on the Roof party @ East Lake Veterinary Hospital
May 18 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

East Lake Pet Orphanage is hosting their annual Wine on the Roof party. This ticketed event includes light music, amplified sound, animals and activities. Food and beverage (alcoholic) will be provided. All outdoor music must cease by 10 p.m. Setup begins at 7 a.m. on May 17, with the erection of a stage (8’x8’x36”), and a tent (40’x50’). Teardown will be complete by 12 p.m. on May 19.

Disco 5k, 10k, 15k Run @ Ronald Kirk Bridge

Dallas Athletes Racing is hosting their 4th annual Disco 5K,10K, and 15K run. This ticketed event includes a DJ and outdoor activities. Food and beverage (alcoholic) will be provided. Amplified sound will start at 7:15 a.m. The runs start at 8 a.m. on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge; travels down into the floodway along the Trinity Skyline Trail and back to the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge. Setup begins at 2:30 a.m. with the erection of tents (three-10×10), and (one- 10×20), and liquid propane gas. Teardown to be complete by 12:30 p.m.

Lakewood Village Farmers Market @ Lakewood Village Shopping Center
May 19 @ 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur within the parking lot of the Lakewood Village Shopping Center at 6463 E. Mockingbird Ln.

The Lakewood Village Farmers Market will consist of up to 50+ vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on Sundays through October 27, 2019. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place within the parking lot of the shopping center. Set up of the market will begin at 7 a.m., tear down at 2 p.m. and property vacated by 5 p.m.

Foodies at Nite @ Foxyco
May 19 @ 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This ticketed event in the Design District will feature business entrepreneurs, live entertainment and outdoor amplified sound from noon to 9 p.m. Merchandise, food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold inside a fenced perimeter. The staging area includes a street closure from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. of Payne Street from N. Riverfront Boulevard to the west end of the Foxyco Parking Lot. Setup begins at 7 a.m. with the erection of a stage (40’x40’x36”), tents (ten – 10’x20’) and fencing. Teardown will be complete by 11 p.m. Private security will be onsite to assist with public safety in addition to DPD.

Brewhaha! @ Bishop Arts

AJ Vagabonds is hosting their annual Brewhaha located in the Bishop Arts. This ticketed event includes a maximum of twenty teams competing in a brewing competition, live music and amplified sound. Food and beverage will be sold, and alcohol will be provided. The following street will close from 2 – 10 p.m.: North Bishop Avenue from west Eighth Street to Melba Street (full closure). Setup starts at 10 a.m. with the erection of tents (twenty – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 11 p.m. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 10 p.m.
