Casa Linda Farmers Market

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Four Seasons Market and located in the the Casa Linda Shopping Center parking lot. The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from  3 – 7 p.m. The market will occur every Wednesday. Parking for vendors and market guests will be in approved parking areas. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods. Setup begins at 1 p.m. and teardown is complete by 8 p.m. The market will not require street closures, and traffic cones and signs are not to be placed on streets or public property.

European Crossroads Shopping Center Family Carnival
Jul 3 @ 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm

This reoccurring temporary carnival, hosted by the European Crossroads Shopping Center, will feature carnival rides, games, concessions, and food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. No tents, stages or street closures are required. Setup will begin Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Teardown will be complete by Monday, July 8 at 6:15 p.m. A permit extension may be issued for the remaining scheduled dates: Monday – Friday, July 1-5 and Saturday & Sunday, July 6-7.

Red White and Boom on the Bridge @ Ronald Kirk Bridge

This is the annual Fourth of July celebration hosted by City of Dallas and CBS Radio. Spectators will gather to view fireworks along the east and west levees of the Trinity River on the Ronald Kirk Bridge, Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Fireworks will be fired from inside the floodway along the banks of the Trinity River. The event features a fireworks display at dark, food trucks, vendors, a DJ, face-painting, clowns, balloon artists, amplified music and a variety of games and activities provided by CBS Radio. Merchandise, food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold. Setup begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday with the erection of seventeen tents (ten-10’x10’, five-20’x20’ and two-20’X20’) and a mobile stage (10’x15’x20”). Teardown will be completed by 10 p.m. on Thursday. The street closure required is the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge from noon on July 3, and will reopen by 2 a.m. on July 4. Streets impacted will include Woodall Rodgers Freeway, I-35 Freeway, Riverfront Boulevard, Beckley Avenue, Sylvan Avenue and connecting streets.

Circo Espana @ Garibaldi Bazzaar

Circo Espana is hosting their annual ten-day circus event on the Garibaldi Bazaar parking lot. This ticketed event includes comedians, clown jugglers, aerial acts and amplified sound. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup begins at 8 a.m. on June 26 with the erection of a tent (one – 100’x100’), a portable generator and a forklift. Teardown will be complete by 6 p.m. on July 22.

Five on the 4th @ Klyde Warren Park
Jul 4 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am

This annual 4th of July event is a 5K, 2-mile walk, 5-mile run, and kids run. The activation within the park is managed by Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation. This permit covers the related street closures. The event will require the closure of Harwood Street from Woodall Rodgers Freeway to Flora Street from 6 a.m. to noon. The route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes ahead of participants and reopen as the last participant passes through.The 5-mile run at 8 a.m. proceeds south on Harwood Street, left on Flora Street, left on Olive Street, right on Cedar Springs Road/Turtle Creek Boulevard, U-turns at Avondale Avenue and Turtle Creek Boulevard, reversing the route to the start/finish. The 5K at 8:30 a.m. proceeds south on Harwood Street, left on Flora Street, left on Olive Street, right on Cedar Springs Road, U-turns at Bowen Street, reversing the route to the start/finish. The 2-mile walk at 8:45 a.m. will follow the same route, U-turns at Fairmount Street, reversing the route to the start/finish. A kids race at 10 a.m. proceeds south on Harwood Street, u-turn at Flora Street reverse to the start/finish. Setup at Klyde Warren Park will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of a stage (8’x8’x24”) and tents (six – 10’x10’). Teardown and street apparatus will be complete/removed by noon.

July 4 – Bent Tree West HOA Parade

Bent Tree West Homeowners’ Association is hosting their annual 4th of July Parade. This free event includes a parade approximately one and a half miles long led by a City of Dallas Fire Truck with amplified sound along the route. No food, beverage, tents or stage are required. This route includes a rolling closure from 9 – 10 a.m.: The route starts at the corner of Brenton Bay Circle and Bretton Bay Lane; proceeds east on Bretton Bay Lane; right on Shadow Glen Drive, left on Creekmeadow Drive ending at 4215 Creekmeadow Drive. Setup begins at 8:15 a.m. with the staging of participants. Teardown will be complete by 10:15 a.m.

July 4 – Lake Highlands July 4th Parade and Carnival
Jul 4 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Exchange Club of Lake Highlands is hosting their annual 4th of July Parade and Carnival. This free event includes live music, entertainment, games, animals (ponies), and a parade that begins at 9 a.m. with children on decorated bikes and trikes, businesses with floats, and Dallas Fire Rescue trucks. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. Amplified sound will start at 9 a.m. The following street will close from 7 – 10 a.m.: Church Street from White Rock Trail to Royal Highlands (full closure). The route starts at North Highlands Bible Church, left on Church Road and finishes at the Wildcat-Ram Stadium parking lot. Setup begins at 5 p.m. on July 3 at Lake Highlands North Recreational Center. Tear down to be complete by 2 p.m.

This annual Independence Day parade and picnic sponsored by the Little Forest Hills Neighborhood Association will involve participants walking, riding bikes, pushing baby strollers, and a few classic cars. The parade route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes before the first participant and will reopen after the last participant passes through. The parade starts at 9 a.m. from the White Rock United Methodist Church parking lot and will proceed south on San Saba Drive, right on Diceman Drive, left on Tavaros Avenue, left on San Leandro Drive, right on San Saba Drive, and finish at Casa Linda Park. The picnic at Casa Linda Park will feature a DJ, a bounce house, and food and beverage (non-alcoholic) will be provided. No tents or stages are required. Setup will begin at 8 a.m. Teardown will be complete by noon.

July 4 – Dallas Athletic Club Celebration
Jul 4 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 pm

This annual event is a firework display at 9:30 p.m. honoring Independence Day at the Dallas Athletic Club for club members and their guests. Activities at the club will include golf, games and swimming. Food and beverage (alcoholic) will be provided. The event will require the closure of the 3900 and 4000 blocks of Fairlakes Drive (open to residents only) from 5:30 p.m to 11:30 p.m. Street apparatus will be removed by 12:30 a.m. on July 5.

July 4 – Lakewood parade

This annual Independence Day parade hosted by the Lakewood Parade Committee will involve amplified sound along the route. The parade route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes before the first participant and will reopen after the last participant passes through. The parade starts at 10 a.m. on Lakewood Boulevard at Cambria Boulevard and travels east, left on Pearson Drive, right on Lakeshore Drive, continue onto Lakewood Boulevard, right on Winsted Drive, to Lakeshore Drive to finish. No food, beverage tents or stages are required. Setup will begin at 9 a.m. Teardown will be complete by 11 a.m.
