Food Trucks on the Plaza @ City Hall Plaza

The City of Dallas’ Food Trucks on the Plaza continues. Food trucks will be parked on Marilla Street between the City Hall building and the Henry Moore sculpture. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold at the event. Setup starts at 8 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 3 p.m. Tuesday through select Fridays.

Clean Air Action Day @ City Hall Plaza
Jun 21 @ 11:00 am – 1:30 pm

City of Dallas Environmental Quality & Sustainability is hosting a new event Clean Air Action Day festival. This employee only event includes amplified sound, a display of 3 electric vehicles, a dump truck and a DART Bus staged on Marilia Street. Setup begins at 9:30 a.m. with the erection of tables, chairs and staging of vehicles. Teardown will be complete by 3 p.m.

European Crossroads Shopping Center Family Carnival
Jun 21 @ 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm

This reoccurring temporary carnival, hosted by the European Crossroads Shopping Center, will feature carnival rides, games, concessions, and food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. No tents, stages or street closures are required. Setup will begin Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Teardown will be complete by Monday, July 8 at 6:15 p.m. A permit extension may be issued for the remaining scheduled dates: Monday – Friday, July 1-5 and Saturday & Sunday, July 6-7.

The Boho Market at The Sound
Jun 21 @ 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This is a new weekly artisan market series organized by Boho Market Group and hosted by Billingsley Company. The recurring Friday market at The Sound, Cypress Waters is free and open to the public and features amplified sound and up to 30 vendors selling local, handcrafted and vintage home goods, art and apparel. There is no food/beverage sales or distribution. Setup starts at 1 p.m. with the erection of vendor pop-up tents (up to 30 – 10’x10’) and teardown will be complete by 10:15 p.m. A private security contractor will provide onsite security guards. A special event permit is issued for a period not to exceed 10 consecutive days, and this series will require permit extensions through the projected October 25, 2019 series end date. Requirements will be reevaluated with each extension and will be adjusted as the market scope changes. Extensions are not guaranteed.

Dallas Arts District – Pride Block Party @ Arts District

The Dallas Arts District is hosting their annual Pride Block Party festival. This free event includes live performances, a DJ, amplified sound, local artists, movies, food truck vendors, water for vendors and outdoor activities. Merchandise, food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold. Outdoor amplified sound must cease by 11:30 p.m. The following streets will close from 2 p.m. – 1 a.m.: Harwood Street from Ross Avenue to Woodall Rogers (full closure); Flora Street from Olive to Harwood (full closure). The following meters will be hooded from 2 p.m. – 1 a.m.: 1700 N. Harwood Street. Setup begins at 2 p.m. with the erection of a stage (16’x24’x18”), tents (ten – 10’x10’), a photo wagon and a portable generator. Teardown will be complete by 1 a.m.  Street closure apparatus will be removed by 1 a.m.

Circo Espana

Circo Espana is hosting their annual ten-day Circus. This free event includes comedians, clown jugglers, aerial acts and amplified sound. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup begins at 8 a.m. on June 12 with the erection of a tent (one – 100’x100’), a portable generator and a forklift. Teardown will be complete by 7 p.m. on June 24.

Back on My Feet Meaningful Miles @ Ronald Kirk Bridge

This annual event is a 5K and 10K run/walk fundraiser to combat homelessness; both races start at 8 a.m. A 5-minute sound check is approved after 7:30 a.m. and amplified sound will start at 7:45 a.m. with the volume maintained at or below 75% of the volume planned for 8 a.m. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. The 5K starts at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turns at the marker, proceeds west across the pedestrian bridge, right  onto the Trinity Skyline Trail, U-turns at the marker, reversing  the course to the finish line at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway. The 10K starts at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turns at the marker, proceeds west across the pedestrian bridge, right onto the Trinity Skyline Trail, U-turns at the marker, reversing the course to the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway. Setup begins at 5 a.m. with the erection of a stage (4’x4’x24”) and tents (five – 10’x10), and teardown will be complete by 10:30 a.m.

Good Local Market -White Rock Farmers Market @ Lake Pointe Church
Jun 22 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Good Local Markets in the Lake Pointe Church parking lot. The market includes up to 70 vendors selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of tents (up to 70 – 10’ x 15’) and teardown will be complete by 2 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market
Jun 22 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

This Neighborhood Farmers Market is organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.

 

The Boho Market at The Hill #2
Jun 22 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

The Boho Market at the Hill is hosting their monthly outdoor event in the parking lot of The Hill Shopping Center. This free event includes more than forty different local vendors, artisans, live music and amplified sound. Merchandise will be sold. Setup begins at 7 a.m. with the erection of tents (twenty – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 5:30 p.m.
