This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Four Seasons Market and located in the the Casa Linda Shopping Center parking lot. The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from 3 – 7 p.m. The market will occur every Wednesday. Parking for vendors and market guests will be in approved parking areas. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods. Setup begins at 1 p.m. and teardown is complete by 8 p.m. The market will not require street closures, and traffic cones and signs are not to be placed on streets or public property.
This annual 5K and 1-mile is hosted by the Friends of the Trinity Strand Trail and has been a Dallas tradition for over 20 years. Beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. The 5K begins at 7 p.m. and starts on northbound Wycliff Avenue and Vantage Street, proceeds south on northbound Wycliff Avenue, transitions over to southbound Sylvan Avenue at Irving Boulevard, U-turn at the upper red light at the Sylvan Avenue Bridge, proceeds north on Sylvan Boulevard, right on Irving Boulevard, right on Manufacturing Street, left on Levee Street, left on Turtle Creek Boulevard, U-turn at the center median before Market Center, proceeds south on Turtle Creek Boulevard, enters Trinity Strand Trail, exits the trail at Wycliff Avenue, proceeds north on southbound Wycliff Avenue to the finish line. The 1-mile run begins at 6:30 p.m. will start on northbound Wycliff Avenue, proceeds south on northbound Wycliff Avenue, transitions over to southbound Sylvan Avenue at Irving Boulevard, U-turn at the upper red light at the Sylvan Avenue Bridge, proceeds north on Sylvan Boulevard across Irving Boulevard back to the start/finish line. There will be pre-event and post-event activities at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Setup will begin at 3 pm December 20 and teardown will be complete by 11:59 p.m. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 8:30 p.m.

This new 1K, 5K and 10K benefits the Memorial Assistance Ministries in Houston. This registration required event will involve outdoor amplified sound beginning at 7:30 a.m. and food and beverage (alcoholic) will be provided. No street closures are required. All races will start and finish at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway. The 1K starts at 8 a.m., proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turns back to the start/finish and disperses. The 5K & 10K starts at 8:30 a.m., proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turns back to the west side, proceeds to the Skyline Trail turnaround east of the green 911 TSK425 sign located on the north side of trail and east of the west Trinity River levee back to the finish. Those participating in the 10K will follow the same route a second time to finish. Setup begins at 1 a.m. with the erection of tents (fifteen – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.
The Boho Market at the Hill is hosting their monthly outdoor event in the parking lot of The Hill Shopping Center. This free event includes more than forty different local vendors, artisans, live music and amplified sound. Merchandise will be sold. Setup begins at 7 a.m. with the erection of tents (twenty – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 5:30 p.m.
Deep Ellum Community Association is hosting their monthly outdoor arts and crafts market. This free event includes live music, amplified sound and vendors. Merchandise, food, and beverage (nonalcoholic) and will be sold. Parking Meters will be hooded at 100-199 N. Crowdus Street from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Setup begins at 10 a.m. with the erection of tents (thirty-five – 10’x10’), a generator and a PA system. Teardown will be complete and street closure apparatus will be removed by 6:30 p.m.

This market includes up to thirty (30) vendors selling locally grown produce, foods and goods. Setup begins at 9 a.m. with the erection of vendor tents and tables and teardown will be complete by 4:30 p.m.
This is a new watch party held on City Hall Plaza hosted by VisitDallas. This free event will provide spectators with a location to watch the annual Reunion Tower New Year’s Eve fireworks show, and will involve outdoor amplified sound until 12:30 a.m., live music, and food and beverage will be sold. Alcohol will be sold within a secured perimeter. Plaza capacity has been maxed at 7,000 attendees to be monitored by wristbands given at entry. Setup will begin Monday, Dec. 30 at 8 a.m. with the erection of fencing, tents (two – 10’x20’ and one – 20’x20’) and a stage (40’x40’). Teardown will be complete, and all street closure apparatus will be removed by Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m.

Happiest Hour Dallas is hosting their annual NYE Mega Party. This ticketed event will be held inside a fenced-in area to control the entrance and exit. This event includes live music, amplified sound and food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold. Outdoor amplified sound must cease by 10 p.m. Setup begins at 7 a.m. on December 26 with the erection of a tent (30’x70’x10”) and a portable generator. Teardown will be complete by 10 a.m. on January 6.
This permit is for the lane closure required to accommodate food trucks. The City of Dallas is hosting a Martin Luther King Job/Education inside the J. Erik Jonsson Dallas Central Library. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold.
