Camp Gladiator are hosting their first annual three-day workout event. This is a private corporate event that will utilize Reunion Lawn for their activities. Trainers will be on stage performing workouts to the crowds on the lawn on multiple days. Upbeat music will be playing during the workouts. No sale of merchandise or food/beverage will take place during the event. Set-up on Dec. 17th at 7 a.m. includes the erection of a stage (120’x144’x36” high), truss structure 12Wx16T over the stage for a banner, three water monsters, golf cart, lighting, generator, marching band, paint field lines and amplified sound at 3 p.m. in one location. Route: Starting at the Omni hotel then proceeding South Bound Lamar, West Bound Memorial, North Bound Hotel and ending at 777 Sports. Street closure times: Tuesday 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday 11:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.; Thursday 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. with amplified sound starting at 8 a.m. Teardown will be completed by 6 p.m. Dec 20. This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Four Seasons Market LLC to occur on the property of Casa Linda (Edens) at 9540 Garland Road (parking lot).
The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from 12pm – 4pm, The market will occur on ‘most’ Wednesday of each month thru December 19, 2018. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×10) and tables to sell locally grown produce foods and goods.
This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Oak Cliff Lions Club to occur on the property of Lula B’s (parking lot) at 1982 Fort Worth Ave.
The Oak Cliff Lions Club Farmers Market will consist of up to 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produce, foods and goods on the second and fourth Saturday thru December 22.
This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Set up of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown at 12 p.m.
The market hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Reunion Tower Operations are hosting their annual Reunion Tower New Year’s Eve firework show on Reunion Lawn. The event will require a full street closure of Hotel St from Reunion Blvd E. to Memorial Drive; Sports St. from North Dr. to Memorial Drive from 8 p.m. until 12:45 a.m. Street closure at Reunion Blvd/Reunion Blvd East (South Side); Sports St/Parking Lot Entrance at North Dr.; Hotel St/Reunion Blvd E. (North Side); In between Hyatt Regency Dallas/Reunion Tower from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Set-up starts at 8 a.m. with amplified sound at 12 a.m. and teardown completed by 12 p.m. January 1, 2019. The projected attendance is 1,000.
Happiest Hour are hosting their annual New Year’s Eve Party located in the Oak Lawn area. The event is a private property and will require registration/tickets to participate. Alcohol beverage will be sold during the event. Set-up on Dec. 26 at 10 a.m. which includes the erection of tents (one-30×70) (one-20×25) (one-10×50) (one-50×40) (one-40×40), eight tent heaters, propane gas cylinders, tables, chairs, and performance by a DJ inside the facility. Four tents will be located within the perimeter and one tent will be located on the second-floor patio and amplified sound at 9 p.m. in one location and should not exceed 10 p.m. Teardown will be completed no later than 5 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2019. There are no street closures or stages. Estimated attendance is 1200
