Delman Circus at Garibaldi @ Garibaldi Bazaar

This is part two of the Delman Circus permit featuring acrobats, jugglers, clowns and a contortionist. No animals will participate in this event. Merchandise, food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup will begin at 8 a.m. on October 22nd with the erection of a tent (one – 150’x150’). Teardown will be complete by 6 p.m. on November 12th. This event does not require street closures.

Casa Linda Farmers Market
Nov 6 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Four Seasons Market and located in the the Casa Linda Shopping Center parking lot. The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from  3 – 7 p.m. The market will occur every Wednesday. Parking for vendors and market guests will be in approved parking areas. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods. Setup begins at 1 p.m. and teardown is complete by 8 p.m. The market will not require street closures, and traffic cones and signs are not to be placed on streets or public property.

HPPM Proud to be an American Parade @ Hamilton Park Pacestter Magnet School

This annual Parade activates on the grounds of Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet School and is held to instill a sense of pride and patriotism within the students who attend the school. The parade will consist of both vehicle and pedestrian participants and will include community veterans, City and State dignitaries, drill teams, cheerleaders, drum lines and dance groups from area Richardson ISD schools. This route will include rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes before the first participant and will reopen after the last participant passes through. The parade departs from the grounds of Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet School at 9 a.m. and proceeds east on Towns, right on Hoslitzelle, right on Tobian, right on Bellafonte, left on High Point, right on Benares, right on Shroeder, right on Towns, to return to the school and conclude. There will be no tents, stages, food or beverages. Bleachers, for attendees, will be placed on the school grounds. Setup starts at 8 a.m. Teardown will be complete, and all street closure apparatus will be removed by 11 a.m.

PurpleStride 2019 @ Klyde Warren Park

The event activation within the Park is coordinated by the Woodall Rogers Park Foundation. This permit covers the related street closures and parking restrictions only. Pancreatic Cancer Action Network are celebrating their 11th Anniversary annual Purple Stride 5K. This registration event includes live music, a DJ, amplified sound and outdoor activities. Merchandise will be sold and food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. departing Klyde Warren Park heading east on Woodall Rodgers westbound service road from Hardwood Street; left on Pearl Street; right on Thomas Avenue; left on Fairmount Street; right on State Street; right on Hall; left on 75 southbound service road; left on Lemmon Avenue; left on McKinney Avenue; stay on McKinney until it hits the Woodall Rodgers; left on Woodall Rodgers Service Road to finish at Klyde Warren Park. The following meters will be hooded from 10 p.m. – Noon starting November 8 and ending November 9: five – meters at 2100 Akard Street; seven – meters at 2100 St. Paul Street. Setup begins at 2 p.m. on November 8 with the erection of a stage (16’x32’x40”) and tents (sixteen – 10’x10’, two – 10’x20’ and two – 20’x20’). Teardown will be complete by 2 p.m. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 11 a.m.

Setup will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of tents (up to 70 – 10’ x 15’) and teardown will be complete by 2 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market
Nov 9 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

This Neighborhood Farmers Market is organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.

 

Trek for Tech 21 @ Lakehill Preparatory School
Nov 9 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am

This is an annual fundraising 5K and 1mile run hosted by Lakehill Preparatory School. The run will involve outdoor amplified sound, and food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. Both runs start and end on school property and run an out-and-back course. The 1-mile fun run starts at 8:30 a.m. and proceeds south on Hillside Drive, east on Lakeshore Drive, U-turns just past Cambria Boulevard and returns to the school entrance. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. and proceeds south on Hillside Drive, east on Lakeshore Drive, then onto Tokalon, U-turns at W. Lawther and returns to the school. Setup begins at 7 a.m. with the erection of tents (two – 10’x10’). Teardown will be completed by noon.
