Greater Dallas Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade @ City Hall Plaza
Nov 11 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

This annual event is the Veteran’s Day Ceremony and Parade. The parade starts at 11:15 a.m. at Houston Street and Young Street and will end at City Hall Plaza with an annual 11th Hour Ceremony. Streets will close 15 minutes ahead of participants and will reopen as the last participant passes through. The parade will proceed north on Houston Street, right on Main Street, right on Ervay Street, right on Young Street, left on Akard Street, left on Marilla Street.  The following streets will close from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for float lineup and bus drop-off: Houston Street from Wood Street to Young Street, Reunion Boulevard E. from Houston Street to Hotel Street, Hotel Street from Reunion Boulevard E. to Cadiz Street. Intermittent traffic control (ITC) will be used in the dispersal area at the following streets Canton Street from Ervay Street to Akard Street, Marilla Street from Akard Street to Ervay Street, Akard Street from Young Street to Marilla Street and Browder Street from Canton Street to Cadiz Street from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Lamar Street, Griffin Street, Commerce Street at Houston Street will remain open along the parade route to facilitate incoming and outgoing Downtown Dallas traffic. City Hall Garage on Young Street will be open to employees. Setup at City Hall Plaza begins at 8 a.m. on Nov. 10 with the erection of stages (one – 18’x24’x24”, one -12’x24’x24’ and one – 8’x16’x12’) and tents (four – 10’x10’), and teardown will be complete by 5 p.m. Nov. 11. Street closure apparatus will be complete by 5 p.m.

Delman Circus at Garibaldi @ Garibaldi Bazaar
Nov 11 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

This is part two of the Delman Circus permit featuring acrobats, jugglers, clowns and a contortionist. No animals will participate in this event. Merchandise, food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup will begin at 8 a.m. on October 22nd with the erection of a tent (one – 150’x150’). Teardown will be complete by 6 p.m. on November 12th. This event does not require street closures.

Casa Linda Farmers Market
Nov 13 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Four Seasons Market and located in the the Casa Linda Shopping Center parking lot. The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from  3 – 7 p.m. The market will occur every Wednesday. Parking for vendors and market guests will be in approved parking areas. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods. Setup begins at 1 p.m. and teardown is complete by 8 p.m. The market will not require street closures, and traffic cones and signs are not to be placed on streets or public property.

Garibaldi Bazaar Fall Carnival @ Garibaldi Bazaar

Triple T Amusements and Garibaldi Bazaar is hosting their annual 10 – day Fall Carnival. This free event includes amusement rides and outdoor activities. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Outdoor amplified sound must cease by 10 p.m. Setup begins at 8 a.m. on November 14 with the erection of amusement rides and a portable generator. Teardown will be complete by 5 p.m. on December 4.

Rise Up Against Addiction 5k @ Felix Lozada, Sr. Gateway/Ronald Kirk Bridge
Nov 16 @ 7:00 am – 11:00 am

This annual 5K run/walk starts and ends at the Felix H. Lozada Sr. Gateway. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. Merchandise will be sold. Outdoor amplified sound will start at 7:30 a.m. with a 5-minute sound check at 7:15 a.m. The route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes ahead of participants and reopen as the last participant passes through. At 8:30 a.m. the run will proceed east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, right on Riverfront Boulevard (southbound lanes), right on Commerce Street (westbound lanes), right on Beckley Avenue (all lanes), across Singleton Boulevard with officer-controlled intermittent closures, right onto the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, procced east to the U-turn and reverse to finish at the Felix H. Lozada Sr. Gateway. Setup begins at 7 a.m. on November 15 with the erection of stage (8’x8x’36”) and tents (twenty – 10’x10).

Good Local Market -White Rock Farmers Market @ Lake Pointe Church
Nov 16 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Good Local Markets in the Lake Pointe Church parking lot. The market includes up to 70 vendors selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of tents (up to 70 – 10’ x 15’) and teardown will be complete by 2 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market
Nov 16 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

This Neighborhood Farmers Market is organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.

 

Deep Ellum Outdoor Market 16 @ Deep Ellum
Nov 16 @ 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

The Deep Ellum Community Association is hosting its Arts & Crafts Market on November 16, 2019. This event is free and open to the public, with an estimate of 200 attendees. This event will have live music, amplified sound and merchandise, consisting of arts and crafts; food and beverages (non-alcoholic) for sale. Setup starts at 10:00 AM on November 16th, with the erection of tents (thirty-five – 10’x10’) and a generator. Teardown will be complete by 6:00 PM on November 16th. This event will require street closures, as specified below. Street apparatus will be removed by 6:00 PM on November 16th.

Pet Fair @ East Lake Veterinary Hospital
Nov 16 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

This is an annual interspecies adoption and pet educational event hosted by the East Lake Pet Orphanage. This free event involves outdoor amplified sound, live entertainment and merchandise, food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. No tents or street closures are required. Setup will begin Friday, November 15 at 7 a.m. with the erection of a stage (36”x8’x8’). Teardown will be complete by Saturday, November 16 at 6 p.m.
