St. Edward Carnival @ St. Edward Church
Oct 13 @ 8:00 am – 9:00 pm

This annual carnival is hosted by St. Edwards Church and includes music, games, amusement rides and family entertainment. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup will begin at 4 p.m. on October 12 with the erection of tents (twenty-three – 10’x10) and teardown will be complete by 10:30 p.m. on October 13.

Lakewood Village Farmers Market
Oct 13 @ 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur at the Lakewood Village Shopping Center.  The Lakewood Village Farmers Market will consist of up to 50+ vendors that will set up booths, tents (10’x15′) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on Sundays. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place within the parking lot of the shopping center. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m., and teardown will be by 5 p.m.

Nuestra Senora del Pilar Festival
Oct 13 @ 9:00 am – 9:30 pm

This annual church festival is hosted by Nuestra Señora del Pilar and takes place on church grounds. The festival features live entertainment and games for children. Food, beverage (nonalcoholic) and merchandise will be sold. Setup begins at 3 p.m. on October 11 with the erection of a stage (16’x24’x36”) and tents (twenty – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 5 p.m. on Oct. 14.

Friendship West Baptist Church – “The Village Coop”
Oct 13 @ 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

This recurring FWBC: The Village Coop neighborhood market is organized by Friendship West Baptist Church. The market is hosted on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from July 21 through November 24 in the parking lot of Friendship West Baptist Church. This market includes up to 35 vendors selling locally grown foods and goods and amplified sound. Setup begins at 8 a.m. with the erection of vendor tents and tables (up to thirty-five – 10’X15’) and teardown will be complete by 6: 30 p.m.

Four Seasons Markets – “Northaven Local Market”
Oct 13 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

This recurring neighborhood market is organized by Four Seasons Markets, LLC. The market is hosted on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from August 11, 2019 through July 26, 2020 in the parking lot of Semones Family YMCA. This market includes up to thirty (30) vendors selling locally grown produce, foods and goods. Setup begins at 9 a.m. with the erection of vendor tents and tables and teardown will be complete by 4:30 p.m.

Cirque Kerwich @ Farmer's Market
Oct 13 @ 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Lone Star Circus Art Center, Inc. is hosting a circus at The Dallas Farmers Market with daily shows from Wednesday October 9 through Sunday, October 13. This event is open to the public and requires purchased tickets. This event will include live performances, amplified sound and merchandise (circus themed toys and handheld lights) sales. Food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold. Setup will start at 9 a.m. October 9 with the erection of a tent (one–52.48’ x 32.80’), bleachers, and a generator. Teardown will be complete by 7:30 p.m. on October 14.

HUR Social Service Religious Walk @ City Hall Plaza
Oct 13 @ 1:15 pm – 5:00 pm

This annual Holy Religious Gathering and Walk is hosted on City Hall Plaza and is sponsored by the HUR Social Service an Islamic Network, Inc. This event will not include amplified sound nor the sale of merchandise, food and beverage. The procession will stop three times (for approximately 30 – 35 minutes each stop) along the walk to perform prayer, chanting and rituals: on the west side of City Hall Plaza (Marilla Street); on Cadiz Street and on the east side of City Hall Plaza (Marilla Street). The route includes rolling closures; streets will close 10 minutes ahead of participants and reopen as the last participant passes through. The walk starts at 2:30 p.m. and continues until 4:30 p.m. The route leaves City Hall Plaza from the west, left onto Akard Street (against the flow of traffic), left on Cadiz Street, left on S. Ervay Street, left back onto City Hall Plaza. No parking restrictions are required along the route. Setup begins at 11 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 6 p.m. Street closure apparatus will be removed by 7 p.m.

Dallas Observer Tacolandia  @ Farmer's Market

This is a taco-sampling festival hosted by the Dallas Observer featuring the best tacos. Food and alcoholic beverages will be sold. Fifty tents ranging in size of 10’x10’ and 10’x20’ will be erected. Setup will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 12 and teardown will be completed by 10 a.m. Oct. 14. The event will be closing one lane on the following streets Taylor Street between Harwood Street and Cesar ChAve.z Boulevard, Farmers Road between Pearl Expressway and Cesar ChAve.z Blvd and Pearl Expy between Marilla Street and Farmers Rd. All closures will be manned by Dallas Police Officers when in effect during the indicated times. Ingress and egress must be allowed to all businesses and residents.

Delman Circus is a classic under the Big Top circus with no animals. Performances include clowns, jugglers, aerialists, acrobats and contortionists for a full two hours of entertainment for the entire family.
