Circo Espana

Circo Espana is hosting their annual ten-day Circus. This free event includes comedians, clown jugglers, aerial acts and amplified sound. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup begins at 8 a.m. on June 12 with the erection of a tent (one – 100’x100’), a portable generator and a forklift. Teardown will be complete by 7 p.m. on June 24.

Back on My Feet Meaningful Miles @ Ronald Kirk Bridge

This annual event is a 5K and 10K run/walk fundraiser to combat homelessness; both races start at 8 a.m. A 5-minute sound check is approved after 7:30 a.m. and amplified sound will start at 7:45 a.m. with the volume maintained at or below 75% of the volume planned for 8 a.m. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided. The 5K starts at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turns at the marker, proceeds west across the pedestrian bridge, right  onto the Trinity Skyline Trail, U-turns at the marker, reversing  the course to the finish line at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway. The 10K starts at the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway proceeds east on the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, U-turns at the marker, proceeds west across the pedestrian bridge, right onto the Trinity Skyline Trail, U-turns at the marker, reversing the course to the Felix H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway. Setup begins at 5 a.m. with the erection of a stage (4’x4’x24”) and tents (five – 10’x10), and teardown will be complete by 10:30 a.m.

Good Local Market -White Rock Farmers Market @ Lake Pointe Church

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Good Local Markets in the Lake Pointe Church parking lot. The market includes up to 70 vendors selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of tents (up to 70 – 10’ x 15’) and teardown will be complete by 2 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market
Jun 22 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

This Neighborhood Farmers Market is organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.

 

The Boho Market at The Hill #2

The Boho Market at the Hill is hosting their monthly outdoor event in the parking lot of The Hill Shopping Center. This free event includes more than forty different local vendors, artisans, live music and amplified sound. Merchandise will be sold. Setup begins at 7 a.m. with the erection of tents (twenty – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 5:30 p.m.

Juneteenth Parade and Celebration @ Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center
Jun 22 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

This new event hosted by the Hamilton Park Preservation Foundation includes a parade and festival with amplified sound, dance-offs and cultural activities. The parade route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes before the first participant and will reopen after the last participant passes through. The parade starts at 10 a.m. from the New Mount Zion Baptist Church parking lot and travels south on Shepherd Road, right on Stults Road, left on Forest Lane, right on Schroeder Road, left on Willowdell Drive and right into the Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center parking lot where the parade will disburse. No tents, food or beverage required. Setup will begin at 8 a.m. with tables, chairs and bleachers provided by the Dallas Park & Recreation department. Teardown will be complete by 6 p.m.

European Crossroads Shopping Center Family Carnival
Jun 22 @ 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm

This reoccurring temporary carnival, hosted by the European Crossroads Shopping Center, will feature carnival rides, games, concessions, and food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. No tents, stages or street closures are required. Setup will begin Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Teardown will be complete by Monday, July 8 at 6:15 p.m. A permit extension may be issued for the remaining scheduled dates: Monday – Friday, July 1-5 and Saturday & Sunday, July 6-7.

Reunion Lawn Party @ Reunion Lawn
Jun 22 @ 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Hunt-Reunion Holdings, INC is hosting their annual Reunion Lawn Party. This free event includes live music, a DJ, outdoor activities, food trucks, lawn games, water stations, and armadillo racing. Food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold. Amplified sound will start at 6:30 p.m. The following streets will close from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.: Hotel Street from Memorial Drive to Reunion Boulevard (full closure); Sports Street from Memorial Drive to Reunion Boulevard (northbound closure); North Drive from Hotel Street to Sports Street (full closure). Northbound Sports Street from Memorial Drive to North Drive will be closed between 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.; southbound Sports Street will remain open. Setup begins at 2 p.m. with the erection of a stage (24’x32’x3.5”) and tents (ten – 10’x20’) (one – 20’x60’) (two – 10’x20’) (2 – 20’x30’). Teardown to be complete by 12 a.m.

This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place within the parking lot of the shopping center. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m., and teardown will be by 5 p.m.
