Good Local Market -White Rock Farmers Market @ Lake Pointe Church
Jun 8 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Good Local Markets in the Lake Pointe Church parking lot. The market includes up to 70 vendors selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of tents (up to 70 – 10’ x 15’) and teardown will be complete by 2 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market

This Neighborhood Farmers Market is organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.

 

Dallas 24 Hour Club 50th Birthday
Jun 8 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
This 50th Birthday Bash for Dallas 24 Hour Club will feature a DJ and fun activities for both kids and adults. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be provided and merchandise will be sold. This event will require the closure of Grigsby Avenue from Ross Avenue to the southern-most end of the Dallas 24 Hour Club parking lot from noon to 7 p.m. Setup begins at 8 a.m. with the erection of tents (six – 10’x10’ and one 30’x40’) and tear down will be complete by 7 p.m.

Lakewood Village Farmers Market

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur at the Lakewood Village Shopping Center.  The Lakewood Village Farmers Market will consist of up to 50+ vendors that will set up booths, tents (10’x15′) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on Sundays. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place within the parking lot of the shopping center. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m., and teardown will be by 5 p.m.

The City of Dallas’ Food Trucks on the Plaza continues. Food trucks will be parked on Marilla Street between the City Hall building and the Henry Moore sculpture. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold at the event. Setup starts at 8 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 3 p.m. Tuesday through select Fridays.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra Parks Concert at Paul Quinn College

This free community concert hosted by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will involve live music played on the campus of Paul Quinn College. Merchandise, food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. No street closures are required. Setup will begin at 8 a.m. with the erection of a stage for the orchestra. Teardown will be complete by 11 p.m.

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Four Seasons Market and located in the the Casa Linda Shopping Center parking lot. The Casa Linda Farmers Market hours are from  3 – 7 p.m. The market will occur every Wednesday. Parking for vendors and market guests will be in approved parking areas. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods. Setup begins at 1 p.m. and teardown is complete by 8 p.m. The market will not require street closures, and traffic cones and signs are not to be placed on streets or public property.

Katy 5K @ Reverchon Park
Jun 13 @ 7:30 pm – 11:30 pm

This annual 5k is sponsored by Friends of the Katy Trail. The 5K will start and end at Reverchon Park. Food and beverages (alcoholic) will be provided. Outdoor amplified sound will cease at 10 p.m. The route includes rolling closures; streets will close 15 minutes ahead of participants and reopen as the last participant passes through. The 5K starts at 7:30 p.m. and proceeds northeast on Turtle Creek Boulevard (full closure), right on Blackburn Street (in a metal barricaded off left lane against traffic), left on Cole Avenue (in a coned off left lane), left on Cambrick Street (in south curb side lane), left on the Katy Trail past Maple Avenue to the finish line inside the park. A kids run will start at 7 p.m. and proceed northeast on Turtle Creek Boulevard to Gillespie Street, turnaround back to Reverchon Park. Setup in the park begins at 7 a.m. on June 12 with the erection of tents (eighty five – 10’x10’) and a stage (24’x24’x36”). Teardown will be complete by 11:45 a.m. June 14. Banners will be placed at the following locations: Maple Avenue, Fitzhugh Avenue, Blackburn Street and the Cedar Springs Bridge.
