Food Trucks on the Plaza @ City Hall Plaza

The City of Dallas’ Food Trucks on the Plaza continues. Food trucks will be parked on Marilla Street between the City Hall building and the Henry Moore sculpture. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold at the event. Setup starts at 8 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 3 p.m. Tuesday through select Fridays.

European Crossroads Shopping Center Family Carnival

This reoccurring temporary carnival, hosted by the European Crossroads Shopping Center, will feature carnival rides, games, concessions, and food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. No tents, stages or street closures are required. Setup will begin Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Teardown will be complete by Monday, July 8 at 6:15 p.m. A permit extension may be issued for the remaining scheduled dates: Monday – Friday, July 1-5 and Saturday & Sunday, July 6-7.

The Boho Market at The Sound

This is a new weekly artisan market series organized by Boho Market Group and hosted by Billingsley Company. The recurring Friday market at The Sound, Cypress Waters is free and open to the public and features amplified sound and up to 30 vendors selling local, handcrafted and vintage home goods, art and apparel. There is no food/beverage sales or distribution. Setup starts at 1 p.m. with the erection of vendor pop-up tents (up to 30 – 10’x10’) and teardown will be complete by 10:15 p.m. A private security contractor will provide onsite security guards. A special event permit is issued for a period not to exceed 10 consecutive days, and this series will require permit extensions through the projected October 25, 2019 series end date. Requirements will be reevaluated with each extension and will be adjusted as the market scope changes. Extensions are not guaranteed.

Circo Espana @ Garibaldi Bazzaar

Circo Espana is hosting their annual ten-day circus event on the Garibaldi Bazaar parking lot. This ticketed event includes comedians, clown jugglers, aerial acts and amplified sound. Food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup begins at 8 a.m. on June 26 with the erection of a tent (one – 100’x100’), a portable generator and a forklift. Teardown will be complete by 6 p.m. on July 22.

Good Local Market -White Rock Farmers Market @ Lake Pointe Church

This neighborhood farmers market is organized by Good Local Markets in the Lake Pointe Church parking lot. The market includes up to 70 vendors selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup will begin at 6 a.m. with the erection of tents (up to 70 – 10’ x 15’) and teardown will be complete by 2 p.m.

St. Michaels Farmers Market
Jun 29 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

This Neighborhood Farmers Market is organized by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The market will consist of no more than 70 vendors with tents (10’x15′) and tables selling locally grown foods and goods on Saturdays. This event will not require street closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Setup of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown will be complete by 1 p.m.

 

BvB Block Party @ Deep Ellum

This new public block party, hosted by BvB Dallas and Deep Ellum Distillery, is a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s disease. This ticketed event will feature a DJ, and food and beverage (alcoholic) will be sold from food trucks and vendor tables. The following street will close from 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Clover Street from S Malcolm X Boulevard to S Crowdus Street. Setup begins at 12 noon with the erection of tents (two – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 5:30 p.m. All street closure apparatus will be removed by 6:30 p.m

Milk Bar Pop Up @ Emporium Pies @ Bishop Arts

Milk Bar is hosting a new two-day event: Pop Up @ Emporium Pies.This free event includes a Milk Bar truck and a photo booth. Merchandise, food and beverage (nonalcoholic) will be sold. Setup begins at 9 a.m. with the erection of tents (two – 10’x10’). Teardown will be complete by 8 p.m. on June 30.
