Casa Linda Market
Nov 22 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Four Seasons Market LLC to occur on the property of Casa Linda (Edens) LLC at 9440 Garland Road, parking lot.

The Casa Linda Market hours are from 3:00pm – 7:00pm, setup begins at 1:00pm and teardown at 7:00pm. The market will occur every Wednesday of each month through December.

The market will consist of no more than 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods.

Garibaldi Bazaar Carnival
Nov 22 @ 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm

This event is a temporary carnival that will be set up on the parking lot at 9334 E. R. L. Thornton Freeway. Setup for the event will begin on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, and teardown will be immediately following the event on Dec. 3, 2017.  This event will include various rides, games, and amusements.  Food trailers will sell food such as cotton candy, funnel cakes, corn dogs, and beverages.  The event will require no street closures.  The maximum projected daily attendance is 125.

Delman Circus

This event is a family circus with clowns and acrobatic acts. The show also includes jugglers and comedy.  No animals will be present at this event.  A large tent (100 feet in diameter) and one stage (2 ½ feet high and 30 feet wide) will be erected for the event.  Food, beverages, and merchandise will be sold. Setup will begin at 8:00 a.m. on November 7, 2017 and teardown will be November 28, 2017. The event will require no street closures.  The projected daily attendance is 250.

Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot @ Dallas City Hall Plaza

This recurring event is the 50th Annual Turkey Trot which consists of a 5K and 8-mile run. The event will start and finish at the Dallas City Hall Plaza.  Setup begins on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 8:00 a.m on City Hall Plaza., and teardown is immediately following the event through 7 p.m Thursday.  Most streets on the route will progressively open and close with run flow, parts of Young Street described will be closed from 4 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday. The 8-mile run begins at 9 a.m. at City Hall Plaza, goes east on Young Street, east on Canton Street, makes a left on Hall Street, left on Main Street, left on Houston Street, right on Reunion Boulevard W, left on Hotel Street, right on Reunion Boulevard E (against eastbound traffic) left on Sports Street (against northbound traffic), left on North Drive, left on Hotel Street, right on Reunion Boulevard E, right on Houston Street, continues on Marsalis, makes a right on Colorado, left on Blaylock, right on E. 5th Street, right on Beckley Avenue, right on Zang Boulevard, continues to the Jefferson St. Viaduct, onto Market Street, makes a right on Young Street, right on Marilla Street returning to City Hall Plaza where it will finish and disperse.  The 5K goes from the plaza east on Young Street, east on Canton Street, left on Hall Street, left on Main Street, left on Market Street, left on Wood Street, continues on Young Street (against traffic), and finishes east of Griffin Street on Young Street in front of the Aloft Hotel. Closures include Eastbound and westbound Young Street between Akard and Browder Streets and between St. Paul Street and Park Ave after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 until 5 p.m. Thursday, November 23, 2017. Eastbound and westbound Young Street between Griffin Street and Harwood Street starting on Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 4:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Setup on City Hall Plaza will begin on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 with the placement of tents, stages, and fencing.  Fencing will be placed along the curbs of Young Street between S St. Paul Street and Harwood Street and along the curbs of westbound Young Street between Akard and Browder. Fifteen tents (four 20’x20’, four 12’x12, and seven 10’x10’) and one stages (one 20’x20’x3’) will be erected for the event. Two refreshment areas will be setup on the plaza with tables placed on the sidewalk.  Refreshment area #1 will be on the southeast corner of Marilla Street and Young Street, and refreshment area #2 will be placed west of the fountain at the bottom of the stairs on the east side of southbound Akard.  Four bounce houses and one children’s craft area will be placed on the grassy area west of the Police Memorial.  Heavy equipment used for the event will include forklifts and scissor lifts for set up, loading, and unloading equipment and supplies. The projected total attendance is 40,000.

Oak Cliff Lions Club Farmers Market @ Lula B’s Antique Shop (parking lot)

This event is a New Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Sian Reilly to occur on the property of Lula B’s Antique Shop (parking lot) at 1982 Fort Worth Avenue. The market operator is the Oak Cliff Lions Club.

The Oak Cliff Lions Club will consist of up to 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place on approved parking areas. Set up will begin just prior to 8:00am and teardown at 12:00pm.
