AT&T Plaza Event (AHA Annual Heart Walk)
Aug 2 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

This event is sponsored by AT&T and is a companywide initiative to raise money for the 2017 American Heart Association Heart Walk in Dallas on Sept. 9th.  Food trucks will be on site for the lunch hours, there will also be a 5 minute manicures by Pink Toes Nail Bar. The event will require tapering-closing the right lane on Jackson from Browder St. to S. Field St. Food trucks cannot obstruct the pedestrian walkway. Setup will begin at 10:00 a.m. and teardown will be completed by 3:00 p.m.  The projected daily attendance is 400.

Casa Linda Market
Aug 2 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Four Seasons Market LLC to occur on the property of Casa Linda (Edens) LLC at 9440 Garland Road, parking lot.

The Casa Linda Market hours are from 3:00pm – 7:00pm, setup begins at 1:00pm and teardown at 7:00pm. The market will occur every Wednesday of each month through December.

The market will consist of no more than 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods.

Paul Quinn Market @ Paul Quinn Market
Aug 3 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur at 3837 Simpson Stuart Road. The market site will be contained within the parking lot, property of the Paul Quinn Campus.

The market hours are from 3:00pm – 7:00pm, setup begins at 1:00pm and teardown at 7:00pm. Public parking is available within multiple parking lots. The Paul Quinn Farmers Market will occur on Thursdays of each month.

The Paul Quinn Farmers Market will consist of no more than 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods.

Restaurant Week Food and Wine Night
Aug 3 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

This event is a kick-off to the annual Dallas Restaurant Week. There will be sampling, live music and alcoholic beverages. Ten 10’x10’ tents and a 16’x24’x2f stage will be erected. Setup will begin at 8:00 a.m. and teardown will be immediately following the vent. It will not require any street closures. The projected attendance is 1,000.

Sidewalk Sale
Aug 4 @ 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

This monthly event is an electronics computer swap meet that will be held at the locations of 2100 N. Houston Street and 501 N. Houston Street. In addition to electronics, vendors will sell computers, peripherals, software, ham radios, personal electronics, accessories, office equipment appliances furniture, general merchandise, jewelry, accessories, etc. Food and beverages will also be sold.  Setup for the event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017, and teardown will be at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  This event will require no street closures.  The projected maximum attendance is 300.

El Calvario Night of Worship
Aug 4 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

This event is a free outdoor concert with gospel music. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the Fellowship Hall. Setup will begin at 6:00 p.m. and teardown will be immediately after the event. This event will require closing Nomas St. between Ingersoll St. and Iroquios St. The projected attendance is 100.

St. Micheal’s Farmers Market @ Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church (north parking lot)
Aug 5 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Nancy Wilbur to occur on the property of the Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church (north parking lot) at 8011 Douglas Avenue.

The Saint Michaels Farmers Market will consist of up to 30 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on the Saturdays, noted below. The applicant will provide electrical power to some of its vendors, if needed. A group of volunteers will staff a welcome booth to answer questions and to help vendors & shoppers. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in the north parking lot. Set up will begin at 6:30am and teardown at 12:00pm.

Tyler Street Farmers Market @ Tyler Street Tower parking lot

This event is a New Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by L. Arielle Richman to occur on the property of the Tyler Street Tower parking lot at 927 W. 10th street. The market operator is Good Local Markets.

The Tyler Street Farmers Market will consist of up to 50 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place on approved parking areas. Set up will begin just prior to 8:00am and teardown at 1:00pm.

White Rock Farmers Market @ Lake Pointe Church (parking lot)
Aug 5 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur on the property of Lake Pointe Church (parking lot) at 9150 Garland Road.

The White Rock Farmers Market will consist of up to 70 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on the Saturdays, noted below. The applicant will provide electrical power to some of its vendors, if needed. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in the parking lot. Set up will begin at 6:00am and teardown at 1:00pm.
