This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Four Seasons Market LLC to occur on the property of Casa Linda (Edens) LLC at 9440 Garland Road, parking lot.
The Casa Linda Market hours are from 3:00pm – 7:00pm, setup begins at 1:00pm and teardown at 7:00pm. The market will occur every Wednesday of each month through December.
The market will consist of no more than 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods.
This new event is a breakfast & lunch for an in-house group at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. The following tents (66’x135’, 30’x100’, 30’x50’ and 20’x40’) will be erected starting Oct. 23 and teardown will be following the event on Oct. 26, 2017. The event will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 1,100.

This annual event is a homecoming parade for W. T. White High School. The event is designed to highlight the community support for public schools in North Dallas. All elementary and middle schools are invited to participate in the parade. Staging for the parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. on October 26, 2017. The parade will start at 12300 Crestline Avenue in the student parking lot. It will proceed north on Crestline, turn right east on Rickover, turn right south on Welch Road, turn right west on Willow, and turn right north on Crestline to finish into the student parking lot and disperse. The projected attendance is 500.
This annual party takes place on the community driving range. There are no required road closures. There will be a 30’x 40’ tent covering a children’s maze. Set up will start at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 and tear down will happen at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017. There is an estimated 300 attendees.
This annual event is a 5K and a 1K run benefiting the J. L. Long Middle School at 6116 Reiger. The 5K run at 6:30 pm will start on Paulus south of Reiger and proceed southeast on Paulus, turn right southwest on Covington, turn right northwest on Glasgow, turn right northeast on Victor, turn left northwest on Paulus, turn right northeast on Tremont, turn left northwest on Brookside, turn right east on La Vista, turn right south on West Shore, turn right west and southwest onto the Santa Fe Trail, turn right northwest on Glasgow, turn right northeast on Reiger to finish and disperse. The 1K run at 6:00 p.m. starts at the same location and proceeds southeast on Paulus, turns right southwest on Covington, turns right northwest on Glasgow, turns right northeast on Reiger, turns right southeast on Paulus to finish and disperse. Activities will be held on school property after the run. Food and beverages will be served. The projected number of participants and spectators is 800.
This event is a party at Arlington Hall which will require the erection of a 60’x60 tent. Setup will begin Oct. 25 At 9 a.m. and teardown will be Oct. 30, 2017. Food and alcoholic beverages will be available. It will not require any street closures. The projected attendance is 200.
This monthly event is a festival sponsored by Little D Markets, LLC. The event will take place in the Alta West Commerce Pavilion. There will be local vendors selling vintage goods, art, jewelry, housewares and packaged food. There will also be live music, food and alcoholic beverages will be available. Setup will begin at 4:00 p.m. and teardown will be immediately after the event. The event will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 200.
This annual three-day carnival benefits the Saint Bernard Community. The Carnival begins on Friday October 27, 2017 with a Bingo Night at 6:00 p.m. that goes until 10:00 p.m. Saturday October 28, 2017, the carnival will take place from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. and will include family games, animals, food sales, live music and an auction. Sunday October 29, 2017 – events begin at 8:00 a.m. and go until 3:00 p.m. with food sales and recorded music. There will be several 10’x10’ tents and a stage 18’x12’x25 inches.
This event is a New Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Sian Reilly to occur on the property of Lula B’s Antique Shop (parking lot) at 1982 Fort Worth Avenue. The market operator is the Oak Cliff Lions Club.
The Oak Cliff Lions Club will consist of up to 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods. This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place on approved parking areas. Set up will begin just prior to 8:00am and teardown at 12:00pm.
