EGMBC Tent Revival

This new event is an afternoon and nightly religious tent revival that will be held for three days. There will be live performances and a religious service. A large tent (60×90) and stage (26x16x23.5) will be erected for the event. Setup will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 and teardown will be completed by 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018. This event will not include closures. The projected attendance is 375 daily.

This event is a temporary circus that will be set up on the parking lot at 13331 Preston Rd. from April 13- April 30, 2018. One, big top tent (130’x200’) and bleachers will be set up on the property for a variety of performances which will include aerial acts, clowns, comedy and horses. Setup for the event will begin on Friday, April 13 at 8 a.m., and teardown will be completed by Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 5 p.m.  Food and beverages will be sold.  No alcoholic beverages will be served or sold. The event will require no street closures.  The projected daily attendance is 500.

Paul Quinn Farmers Market @ Paul Quinn College Campus
Apr 26 @ 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

This is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by Good Local Markets to occur on the property of the Paul Quinn College Campus (parking lot) at 3837 Simpson Stuart Road.

The Paul Quinn Farmers Market will consist of no more than 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produced foods and goods on Thursdays thru December 6.

This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in multiple parking lots within the campus. Setup begins at 1 p.m. and teardown at 7 p.m.

The market hours are from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Annual Shareholder’s Meeting
Apr 27 @ 7:30 am – 11:00 am

This annual event is a meeting of AT&T stockholders, executive leadership and board members to vote on established items and communicate a current state of business. Attendees must have an invitation and will be accommodated within the performance hall. Large awnings will be erected adjacent to the Moody Performance Hall and the loading dock. The event will require closing Jack Evans Street. between Ross Avenue and Flora Street, Flora Street between Jack Evans Street and Routh Street from 7 p.m. April 26 to Noon April 27, 2018 for security measures. The projected attendance is 800.

Commerce Street Night Market
Apr 27 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

This monthly event is a festival sponsored by Little D Markets, LLC. The event will take place in the Alta West Commerce Pavilion. There will be local vendors selling vintage goods, art, jewelry, housewares and packaged food. There will also be live music, food and alcoholic beverages will be available. Setup will begin at 4 p.m. and teardown will be completed by 10 p.m. The event will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 200.

Oak Cliff Lions Club Farmers Market

This event is a Neighborhood Farmers Market organized by the Oak Cliff Lions Club to occur on the property of Lula B’s (parking lot) at 1982 Fort Worth Ave.

The Oak Cliff Lions Club Farmers Market will consist of up to 35 vendors that will set up booths, tents (10×15) and tables to sell locally grown produce, foods and goods on the second and fourth Saturday thru December 22.

This event will not require street or lane closures and all parking will take place in the church parking lot. Set up of the market will begin at 7 a.m. and teardown at 12 p.m.

The market hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
