March for Life

This annual religious procession and pro-life rally begins with a staging on Crocket Street where food trucks will serve food and beverages as participants arrive. Street closures for the staging will be on Flora Street and Ross Street from N. Pearl Street to Leonard Street and will include Crockett between Flora Street and Ross Street. The march will begin at Cathedral Guadalupe Catholic Church and proceed to a private parking lot at the corner of Jackson and S. Griffin Street where a rally will take place. Starting at noon, closures will begin only during the process and recess of the march along the route including Flora Street between N. Pearl Street and Crockett Street, the procession will go northeast on Flora Street to Crocket Street, southwest on Crockett Street to Ross Avenue where the procession will go Southeast on Ross Avenue to N. St. Paul Street to Wood Street where the procession will turn east where the route will end in the parking lot at the corner of Wood Street and S. Griffin Street. Closures will open as soon as the procession passes. The procession will then return back to the starting point. There are no tents. There will be a single stage on the parking lot property (shorter than 36”) and amplified sound. Estimated attendance is 6,000.

DIA Smart Cities Living Lab Launch

This event is hosted by the Dallas Innovation Alliance. The event is a ceremony/remarks with an erection of a 144’x96’x24” stage on Market St. The event will require the closure of Market St between Pacific and Ross; Pacific will not be impacted. Meters on Market within the closure will be hooded for the event. No parking signs on Market within the closure will be placed prior to the event. The event will set up at 4:00 pm and tear down will begin immediately after the event. The projected attendance is 200.

Community Beer Anniversary Party
Jan 27 @ 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

This annual event is an Anniversary Party of the Community Beer Company. There will be live music (acoustic) throughout the day. Food and beverages will be available for sale. A 40’x60’ tent and a 4’x8’x12” stage will be erected in the back-parking lot. Setup will begin at 12 p.m. Jan. 26 and teardown will be immediately after the event. It will require no street closures. The projected attendance is 1,250.
